Darkness... Where was he? Basil Rose felt as if he was floating in the untame darkness. He could easily see his own features, yet everything was blacker than ash. Who was he? Who was he? A billion questions ran through his mind at the same time, not one did he have an answer for. "My staff..." He whispered. He remembered having a pole and it being of great importance, but it was nowhere to be seen in this never ending pool of black. |

((OoC: I intend to use KHI's Awakening system, though KHII's would be more appropriate for Nobodies. KHII's Awakening system had little depth and it's final battle was only a glorified sequence of quicktime sequences.)) "You are peculiar. You are incomplete, only half of what you once was." That voice spoke out to him from the darkness. There was a strange feeling about it, it seemed familiar to Basil, but nothing like he had ever heard before. It also didn't have a voice, it sounded more like a whisper than anything. "We'll see if your mettle can carry your existence on where your heart had not." He lands on a bright glass platform. A warm inner light shines from it. There appears to be something illustrated in the glass, but Basil is too close to see it. "So much to do, so little time... Take your time. Don’t be afraid. The door is still shut. Now, step forward. Can you do it?" |

(Yeah, KHII works great for nobodies, just don't forget the Twilight Thorn at the end.) " Solid ground? Was he not just floating through eternal darkness? Upon landing, he felt the ground, it was glass, but it felt like stone. Basil got to his feet and examined the ground, it was shiny and multi colored, simply beautiful. If only he could just make out the design... Basil heard a voice, nay, a whisper. Where had he heard it before? It was so familiar yet so foreign and strange. Could it be trusted? More questions ran through Basil's mind, but he came to the decision that the only way out of here would be to follow the voice. Basil stepped forward ready for further instruction. |

((OoC: It would be difficult to use the Twilight Thorn as a boss. As I said, the battle boils down to 'Mash Triangle and slap it like mad when you're no longer bound. Repeat x3'. Besides, it's not applicable anyway, not unless your character personally knows and has a grudge against Seifer Almasy, and you didn't specify anything on the History. In any case, the KHII script I have is vague and short on this Station, and there's not enough time to bone up on my Awakening. I think KHII Awakening implies that you know about KHI Awakening, and is thus shorter and more esoteric.)) With a loud grinding noise, three short pillars rise out of the ground. The glass doesn't smash (or indeed ripple at all) to the pillars' intrusion. "You have an unusual power." The pillars flash, and objects appear on them. On the first pillar is a silver-bladed, golden-hilted sword. It looks quite hefty, and any doubt of it being able to slice through a target is non-existent. On top of the second pillar is a large shield, while not very thick, it looks very strong, and large enough to hide two people behind it. On top of the third pillar is a strange little staff. It is composed of knobbled wood, and three glass bulbs connected to each other on top. Within them is a constantly-swirling smoke, similar to the mists that surround the plateau. "If you give it form... It will give you strength. Choose well." ((OoC: If there is a way to make the fight against the Thorn to work, then that would be more logical than having a Darkside Heartless.)) |

(We don't have to go exactly by the game, it could be like the Darkside battle with just a different boss.) "Well 'aint that a sight?" Basil said, dumbstruck by the beautiful weapon's shine. Basil walked up to the staff, its power was great and obvious, but the weapon itself was just so flimsy looking. He walked to the shield. "Well the best defense is a good offense." Basil laughed to himself. He finally walked up to the sword. It was amazingly crafted, with sparkling gold and silver. It was elegant, but it also looked quite deadly. One swing of this could easily send an enemy running, so he picked up the sword and swung it at an imaginary enemy. |

The sword blurs as it moves through the air, and whistles as several hydrogen atoms caught are split in half by the blade. Despite it's clunky size, it felt nimble enough to pull off some serious combos. Basil can see his face reflected from the sword's blade. "The power of the warrior. Invincible courage. A sword of terrible destruction. You choose this power? |

Astounded by the blade's weight, shine, and manuverability, Basil let out a huge smile. "Yes" Basil said to the unseen person or thing "I want this power to be mine.". He looked back at the shield and the staff. They too were beautiful, it was a shame he had to leave those... |

Basil's hand suddenly clenches as the sword that was in it suddenly vanishes in a shower of white sparks. Each sparkle settles on his hand and sinks through his skin. The feeling of confidence that came with holding the sword doesn't vanish with the weapon itself. "Now, what will you give up in exchange?" |

Basil was upset as the sword vanished, but the courage and sense of power it gave off did not leave him. "Give up one?" He whispered sadly. He looked over at the staff, its power was too strong to give up. Basil then walked over to the gigantic shield. He pointed to the shield and spoke to the voice. "If I must, I will give up the shield, final answer. No need to bother confirming." He said. |

The shield, on closer inspection, is suddenly disrepaired. A loud *clunk!* noise near Basil's feet shows that a bolt had fallen free. The entire shield falls free of the handle. As it hits the ground, it shatters into black smoke, which rises past Basil and into the air to join the rest of the mists. "You've chosen the power of ther Warrior. You've given up the power of the Guardian. Your path is set..." The pillars sink into the ground with a sickening grinding noise, which couldn't possibly be more grating or unpleasant. Unfortunately, that's not all from the cacophony. The submersion of stone into glass seems to have summoned a smashing noise from the far side of the platform. Shards of coloured glass were falling away, revealing the plateau to be entirely hollow and fragile after all. "Watch your step..." The glass continues to shatter towards Basil. Pretty soon, he'll run out of space to stand! |

(Do your choices with the weapons really effect the game?) The sound of the sinking pillars hurt Basil's ears so he winced in pain. The voice's warning made no sense until the floor started falling.leaving Basil with only enough floor for just his two feet. |

((OoC: Yes. Enemies will attack those who forfeit offense (the Dream Sword) more. They'll attack those who forfeit defense (Dream Shield) more. I can't say anything on the Dream Rod's forfeiture.)) Basil lurches downwards unpleasantly, the floor beneath him having suddenly broken away. He accelerates downwards, and the mist becomes a headwind. At this point, any possible landing would be lethal. As such, a platform similar to the broken one appears, but it's approaching too slowly at the speed Basil's falling. It may not be a lethal landing after all. |

As the last bit of ground shattered, Basil fell. Yet though he seemed to be falling to his death, the courage the shards of the Dream Sword gave him filled Basil with the strength he needed to get by and a relaxed mindset. Another platform was quickly coming, but slow enough to provide a safe landing. Basil landed on his feet, safe and sound. Another stained glass floor... The Nobody wished he had looked down to have seen the design. |

A long staff of dark wood is placed in Basil's hand. He should recognise it. "You have gained the power to fight." A small creature appears in front of him. It maintains a low (and slightly lamed) posture. It is perfectly black, apart from the two blank, yellow eyes that stare inquiringly up at Basil. |

The staff looked familiar, and it gave off a sentient presence. "What is your name?" Basil asked. "Siesa..." It simply whispered in Basil's mind. "What should I do then." He asked, he felt like he could trust this voice. "Fight..." It whispered. Basil dashed forward and attempted to smack the shadowy creature. |
