Gen formed as he had been running from someone and a teleport spell let him get away. He continued his escape, not wanting to be caught by the person he didn't like. Now he just needed a way to the Destiny Islands. If this keyblader is on the Islands.... then Gen will have to be. |

As he was told, Gen is walking past the hotel. Some of the lights are still on. For the most part, however, Traverse Town is dead in the night. The Gizmo Clocktower signals that it is 1:15 AM. Doesn't time fly? The cloud Gen had moved through flickers and putters. |

Gen sighed. Maybe now he might be able to rest a bit. He had been a bit active as of late. He found a bench and sat down, looking at his Keyblade. Why did it have to be the Memory Keyblade? He was starting to get quite disturbing memories.... ones he didn't remember having in the first place. Who were those people? What was happening to him? The keyblade had started to change just slightly. A small twist near the hilt. That... was strange. Gen shook his head and tried to rest, and hope that he might be able to concentrate on those weird memories... and maybe... maybe he might be able to remember what he thought he never had experienced in the first place. |

Unfortunately for Gen, Aeolus made it through the magic cloud before it closed. He ran towards Gen while he was trying to rest. "Are you going to come peacefully, grumpily or unconcious?" Aeolus asked. |

Unfortunately for Gen, he was having another flashback. And this one was rather intense. "Alright my new servant... Call your brethren.... Destroy this world." A voice said. Gen stood there, doing nothing. "Call them. I'm giving you an order." It said again. Gen didn't respond. "DAMN IT, CALL THE HEARTLESS HERE!!" The voice demanded. Gen twitched, and raised a hand. A portal of darkness formed, and Heartless began to spew out from it. "No.... Not that much. Not that fast!" The voice said. Gen regained his composure, and looked at Aeolus. "How about none of the above?" He asked, standing up. He was a bit wobbly, but he could at least still stand. |

Aeolus just tsked and shook his head. "I am an Elite Guard, trained to fight with and against more things than you can imagine. From broken bottles to bombs. And you think you can defeat me? Plus we exited near the hotel so all I need to do is yell and everyone's here. That why I said the "grumpily" option." |

"I have no reason to go with you. I also have EVERY reason to leave. And the last reason..." He said, pointing the Keyblade at Aeolus. "I'm the one with the Keyblade. Not you." "Why did the keyblade choose him? It was MY family that had been chosen for the past thirty years! He's nothing but a commoner! We'll see if the Keyblade chooses him when he's one of the Heartless! Begin the experiment!" A voice echoed in Gen's head. He held it in pain for a moment, almost dropping his weapon. "I...don't have... time for you..." He said, turning and running. He needed to find a way off this world. |

A small group of bystanders, who had watched the exchange between the two, suddenly splits for Gen. Each one casts a worried look as he passes. They turn to Aeolus and resume backing off. |

Aeolus runs after Gen, not paying attention to the bystanders. "Hey! Yuffie, Sonic, Cloud, Leon! I found the keyblader!" Aeolus called out. He just hoped they heard him. |

In response, the hotel doors burst open. Sonic is standing there. A few seconds later, Aerith appears behind him, along with Yuffie. Leon then follows. "You found him? Awesome!" "Our plans will be put into motion yet." "Eh. What's happening?" "He looks...distraught." |

Gen turned to look at his would be captors. "AAAAHHH!!" He yelled as he saw them multiply. Too many people. He began trying to weave and duck around people and buildings, hoping to avoid being seen. This was NOT going to be easy, OR fun. |

He yelled, then realizing that he shouldn't have said that, shut up and continued running. Where was a place he could use to travel between worlds?? |

"So you're running away? I thought you wanted to control darkness. And last I checked, weak cowards are the ones who get controlled. Did wittle Gen get facts wrong while had his wittle temper trantrum?" Aeolus said, the last sentence in a baby-ish tone, rying to make Gen stop running. |
